Moose Lottery

Another year and once again no F#@$%ing permit for me. I hate this lottery where some people have gotten moose permits more than once and yet my brothers and I have applied for years and no permit.
for results....go to

Aww I'm sorry Club Fisherman. But you know, it isn't a real challenge to walk up to a moose, look at it eye to eye and shoot it anyway. There is just no challenge at all. Go for the deer! They run!

Last year, there was a man at Freedom General complaining that he had purchased into the lottery. His complaint was that after he had spent the money, he found out that he didn't have to.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? Good, because it appears that I don't. Laughing

Purpose

error, to answer your question:

quote:
"why would you want to kill a moose? what did one ever do to you"

You kill a moose, deer, rabbit, possum, chickens, turkeys, etc to eat. You DO NOT kill an animal for fun. You DO NOT kill an animal to give you something to brag about. You kill only to put meat on the table, meat in your belly.

never been hunting.

So there in lies the question, How would you know how "EASY" is to shoot a moose or anything for that matter?

Did you shake your Eight Ball, ask it if it was hard to shoot a moose and it answered with "easy"?

I am not seeing/reading where error ever said it was easy killing a moose. He said he had never been hunting, and

quote:
why would you want to kill a moose? what did one ever do to you?

such inoffensive creatures. they just stand there. Their meat can't be that good.

It was me that said,

quote:

And to answer your question, Yes, I have been moose hunting, and I did shoot it. But for some reason, it came out real blurry.

Why does everything have to be a challenge? Some people just want the meat, not a challenge. It would be interesting to see someone trying to bring a moose down with a bow, or a bat, or a spear (though more painful to the animal).

My point is you don't ask a doctor how to fix your car, or a mechanic how to fix an medical problem, yet non hunters are always willing to tell us hunters how easy hunting is. I for one am tired of the endless non hunting BS. You don't want to hunt, then don't. Please don't tell me what I should or shouldn't do!

Ease up Club Fisherman. Take a deep breath, inhale through your nostrils, count 1 and 2 and 3 and Now let your breath out slowly exhaling through your mouth. If that doesn't help, do it a 2nd and 3rd time.

it works and will help relax you so we don't (or the classic NON hunters) stress you out.

It really doesn't matter what opinion the non hunter has, as they are not educated in the art or fun of fishing, hunting, etc.

Thanks Paula,
I opened this post with nostrils flaring........

I, as with most hunters, do not try to force non hunters to hunt. Yet, non hunters will always try and stop you from hunting.
Thats all.
BAck to work for me.....heheheheheheheeeeee
