I was just wondering whether the forum could be combined with a blog? I'm not a particular fan of blogs because I'm not sure how to organize submissions topic-wise, but they do seem to be a "hot" item generally.

I think I have an idea what a blog is... but give me an example. I've never actually put much thought into it, but I do hear the term all the time.

Some example blogs are at www.maine.info/forums.html . . . Both Waterboro Library and Kennebunk Library have blogs. There is also a windjammer blog on page 2. Again, as I said, I don't see organization by topic, the benefit of a php forum.

Me too. Then again, people are not always happy about the imposed structure of a php forum. Perhaps different styles for different tastes.

I'm always open to adding new forums if someone has an interest and thinks people will use it. Until there are more registered users using the site I am going to keep it scaled back. Nothing anymore frustrating then to see empty forums.
