We are in Washington County where Ron Paul has many supporters. During our Cucus, which was held at Washington Acadamy in East Machais had a near capacity crowd that turned out and most of the people were for President Ron Paul.

The part that is noteworthy is that the Republican Chair made every attempt to down play the importance of Ron Paul and the RP supporters.

Something has happened to the Republican Party in Maine..it has morphed into something quite irrational. Yes, my wife and I have registered as Republican, however, we think the time has come to re register as Independents.
