As of this moment all Private Messages have been turned off. So far this year I've gotten a 3-4 complaints from members about other users the private message function for spamming. A couple of times it has to do with other forums that people are trying to get off the ground. If these forums had users I would be tempted to prove a point by spamming their members to show how much they wouldn't appreciate it.

Because the private message feature is used by quite a few people I will be turning it back on for some users. I will go through and start turning it back on for users who are active in the last couple of days. Post a reply here if I've missed you and you'd like to have it turned back on.
