MSNBC PREPARES CLINTON OBIT [JUST IN CASE]

Well at least it didn't appear on their website by accident!

From Drudgereport.com

As Bill Clinton hit the operating table at 6:45 a.m. at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia in upper Manhattan, MSNBC almost simultaneously was preparing a video package of the former president's obituary -- just in case.

An internal email sent from NBC tape producer Peter Hitchins to NBC staff just 20 minutes before the operation began describes a contingency video prep if the former president died from complications from heart surgery:

From: Hitchins, Charles (NBC Universal, MSNBC)

Subject: Clinton Obit

It's funny you say that Mainah... I was watching Fox News this morning and I heard the woman say:

"Bill Clinton's surgery has turned America's attention to the importance of heart disease".

All major medias prepare for bad news(ok, probably a good news for some people). Nelson Mandela was killed a couple of time, that is, medias accidentally reported a couple of times that he was killed.

I'm sure that all major medias have number of templates of assignation news in the middle east Rolling Eyes .

I used to work in Radio and one of my first assignments at a country station I worked at was to create obits for a few people. Stuff they'd put in a folder in the event they need it in an emergency. Every so often they go in and update it with new content.

Ask Drudge since it was the main stream media that blew off the Lewinsky story in the beginning.
